This blogpost is all about how you can keep those creative juices flowing! We know it can be tough to keep them going when you're simply stuck at home during the circuit breaker. So we're here to give you some quick tips on how you can stay creative.
1. Keep a journal.
Seems really basic right? We've always recommended that keeping a journal on you at all times is beneficial; besides helping you declutter your mind, it's a quick way to pen down your ideas really quickly! Creative ideas usually hit us at the strangest times, so keeping a journal near you all the time definitely helps you to jot down all those ideas!
2. Take a break from the current task.
When we are chasing that deadline, the mere stress from it can stifle our creativity, which means we either won't be able to produce our best work. In cases like these, a quick 5-minute break can really change everything.
Have a pace around the room, do breathing exercises, watch a funny video on Youtube or maybe just do a couple of light stretches! Let your mind take a short break from the task at hand so that your mind can start to relax and recalibrate! If you're handling more than one project at a time, it can help to move on to the other project for a short while too.
3. Figure out your most 'productive time' of the day.
Some of us are morning larks and others are night owls. It is always beneficial to figure out when you're the most productive or when your mind is the most active.
Figuring this simple detail about yourself will help you to not only create a schedule for maximum productivity but it also allows you to manage your expectations. It can be really frustrating when you aren't able to achieve something you've set for yourself. However, it's important to remember that we all have good and bad days, and similarly, we have times of the day when we are more productive, so use that to your advantage!
We hope you found these three tips useful and helpful during the circuit breaker! Stay safe, everyone!
